Blechnum minus is a ground fern that can form a trunk up to 3ft/1m in height.  The pinkish tinge in the new fronds adds a splash of colour to the fernery.  A pretty fern well suited as a companion plant for Blechnum nudum and Polystichum proliferum.   Particularly well-suited for enhancing water features and also able to cope well in areas with poor drainage.
