Dicksonia antarctica and other ferns are shipped in 20ft refrigerated containers at temperatures that induce dormancy in the plants, thus arriving at their destination in excellent condition ready to frond. Shipments are available FOB or CIF. All required documentation and permits supplied Dicksonia antarctica are not CITES listed as they are not endangered so do not require a Cites permit. Cites permits are required for Cyathea australis Approximately 1200 ft of tree ferns pack into a 20ft reefer. The quantity depends on the size mix of tree ferns required. Tree ferns are sold per linear feet of trunk. Sizes available are from 1ft to 12ft lengths. A new growing and processing area specifically designed to ensure our products meet European Union standards was established in 2006. All ferns are grown and treated to meet the requirements of the importing country.
